Artists incorporate architectural details in their paintings in different ways. A window, an arch, a rendering of a basic building block or the precise detail of a classical embellishment are subjects which artists interpret through their own personal vision. Artists' interpretations celebrate their encounter with buildings which inspire them. Architecture influences our thinking about solidity, transcendence, everyday life and higher ideals.
