           Dee Beard Dean has been painting all her life: plein air artworks. It has been said of her painting that she displays a passionate awareness of how light, color and form interact to excite the eye and the imagination. She studied art at Grand Rapids College, Kendall College and the New York Academy of Art. Dee has studied with many nationally renowned artists. Dee Beard Dean has received many awards at juried art competitions and has been published in regional and national journals. Her works can currently be seen at fine art galleries around the country.
